Was wondering what gas prices are around the springfield area? Phoenix is now at $2.20 a gallon.

Down here in the Sacramento metro area to $2.85 from $3.60 4 weeks ago. I don't expect this to say down for long. If Iran gets mean or someone bombs them watch it skyrocket we could see $4.00 a gal. I bet.

Default Gas prices

Most gas prices in Springfield, MO today (Sept 20) are running about $2.05 for regular unleaded 87 octane. The $1.85 price per gallon you are hearing about is for Ethenol blended 85 octane, (it's called E-85) which most cars won't run on. At least, I wouln't put it in my car.

My son lives in Jefferson City, MO, and he says gas is $2.17 up there.

It's actually good gas. Anyone know what years it will run in? I thought someone said its just a filter needed so you can run it.
