These will be contained behind fencing and on a preserve. So basically this is just a big herd that will never go anywhere else.

The elk re-introduced into the Ozarks by the MDC earlier this year are not being similarly contained. I'll appreciate them in decades to come if I'm not too old to hunt one when they start issuing tags.

Buffalo is good meat. I've bought some up near Clifton Hill from Shepard's. It is pretty rich compared to home grown beef or venison, not quite as rich as elk. I'm pretty certain this new buffalo herd is just for "lookin".

Had one by the house MDC spent 3 days trying to catch it.They caught him,he got away, they caught him again. They had him in the Zoo in Springfield, next thing I know they took him to Florida.

Well I was on the Phone wanting to know why they did this instead of taking him out to Mark Twain turn him lose? Well he had an attitude.Well you would have one to if people were trying to catch you for 3 days.

Not sure why they expect better behavior from a bear than from the average human... having said that, I wonder if I could convince them to ship some of my co-workers with attitude to florida?
