Even better, it was the flag Mississippi seceded from the Union with.

Still a Confederate flag!

Out of these, I'm 5 (k-swiss logo), 3 (hurricane ravaged magnolia tree) and 2.

How the other two make it, especially the one that looks like Marge Simpson, I have no idea?

I like #2.
#3 Looks like it survived the dust bowl days.

A Magnolia Bloom for the Magnolia State. I hope it appeals to the citizens of Mississippi like I think it will to everybody else.

Good design! Can't argue with good design. Even the dust bowl survivor! Very good. Magnolia rendering is lovely.

I don't see Marge Simpson! Where is Marge Simpson?

Most people I talk to like the version showing the Mississippi River.
The good thing about that version is that someone with a basic knowledge of geography will see that flag as representative of Mississippi. It could be no other state.
FWIW .... The solid straight East-West line at the southern edge of the state is the 31st parallel and was originally the southern border of the US. Today, only MS and AL share that particular line, with a cutout between the Perdido River (AL/FL) and the Pearl River (MS/AL). The land between the Perdido and the Pearl was nearly always under conflict between the French and the Spanish, so the US just annexed it.

Which one, the K-Swiss logo or the one to it's left in the image above?

LOL! I had to look up K-Swiss!
The one to the left of K Swiss shows the river. That's the one most people I talk to like.
BTW, A LOT of people are upbeat about our new flag. It will be something we can all fly
