I moving to Ocean Springs soon and have to find an apartment without going there to look at it. Someone recommended Westgate and Chateau Bayou. Are those complexes nice/safe?

Any information you can give would be great!

Thanks!!!

Depends on your budget. I recommend you look at some of the properties on Lemoyne Blvd. There are three or four fairly new apartment complexes there. A brand new one is just opening on Hwy 57, called Toulon, I think. You should be able to find web pages if you search.

Toulon
Grand Biscayne
Oceania?
Park at Lemoyne?

The addresses on some of these may say Biloxi or D'Iberville, but they are a 3-10 minute drive from Ocean Springs.

Rent varies significantly here in OS. The new apartment complex, Toulon, though on 57 looks very nice and I would bet that they are income based, as most apartment complexes are here. The new high school will be about one mile from those apartments and the middle school about 2 miles. Both are very good schools. Not really a bad place to live here in OS, just some areas are cheaper than others, but by far the best city to choose from on the MS Gulf Coast.

The nicest apartment complex in Ocean Springs, by far, is Ocean Springs Station --- near the hospital. Not the cheapest for sure, but the safest and the nicest.
