I'll be visiting for a week in March and would like to go to one... I've been looking online for one in Rochester, but can't find one. Does anyone know of one in or NEAR Rochester?

This is probably the closest thing you'll find, site says live music every night, and I believe they often have pianists, not sure. I think I went once a long time ago, can't remember it too well, but it's the favorite of some friends in rochester:

I was thinking more along the lines of deuling pianos/sing-a-longs, not jazz piano player, but thanks y'all... I do think I heard that there was a place up by the cities, but I don't think the grandparents would want us to leave the kiddos and go THAT far away...

Still check out the subway system of Mayo. People do sing and the crowds sing as well sometimes. I've never seen dueling pianos though.

If at all possible, make the trip to Mpls to Nye's, imho it can't be beat for the piano/sing-along.

The subway in Rochester is just the underground portion of Mayo Clinic. It's not a transportation system. I never remember to clarify that. It's walking tunnels and like the basement level of the buildings.
