Heatwave over here in WI as well. I call it the blowtorch pattern. Monday is 35F for a high, though.

A beautiful 71F and sunny day today in the Mpls. burbs. Hard to belive there is a full blown blizzard going on to the north and west of us! Supposed to T-storm tonight here. I hope we get some rain.

It's still pretty nice out during the day. Today at lunch I took the 4 block walk to Panera Bread. I was just wearing my thin Northface. It was nice out. That's fine by me on November 13.

Looks like a nice Thanksgiving weekend shapping up. Similar to last year. Now if we can only keep it up into winter like last year

Blowtorch pattern continues here in WI. It was in the mid 50s. The computer models indicate it will get a bit cooler by the end of this week, but I only see "average" cold at best for the extended period and no big storms which is VERY concerning for farmers around here as they really need the winter moisture now.

A wonderful day today in Duluth. Went hiking in my sweater this morning and climbed to a tremendous sunset! The high today was 48F/9C. Warmest I could find for MN was 63F/17C in Winona, which is absolutely amazing. The dewpoint was also very high in Duluth, maxing out at about 45F/7C. Unfortunately, my phone died before I could take any really beautiful pictures, but here's one of the last ones I was able to take:

Ely's Peak, 3 December 2012 by tvdxer, on Flickr

Certainly atypical for December in Duluth...
