I know nothing about braiding hair or even hair in general (I'm white; but I have what my family has always kindly referred to as "impossible" hair).

I have noticed that there are several hair salons around 26th and Nicollet in south MPLS that specialize in ethnic hair styles.

Sorry I can't help better than that.

Natural Hair Care Salons

Scroll down to "Minnesota".

Usually, you start there and just ask around. You'll get contacts with enough detective work.

Best of luck, sista.

There are some salons along University Ave. in St. Paul. There is one on Univ. and Pascal. I went there before and I was very pleased with my braids. I got a lot of compliments.
