Does anyone know of a salon/stylist that's good at hairstyling asian hair, particularly in the south metro area (burnsville/eagan/rosemount/apple valley)? I'm asian and have had no luck at Fantastic Sam's. (I've asian friends who've had theirs too at FS and didn't get the cut they wanted.) I won't mind going to a higher end salon, so long as it's worth it.

Oh c'mon Asian sister, our hair is easily cut anywhere because it's silky, straight and strong. Maybe Fantastic Sams just has bad hair dressers and its not your (our) Asian hair?

I know the Twin Cities has at least one Asian-oriented newspaper. Check them (and their web presence) out for advertising. I don't know what the newspaper is called by some creating application of Google will find it for sure.

Try Hope at Cloud 9 Salon in Eagan. The problem with places like Fantastic Sam's is they are trained to cut your hair as fast as possible, not to give you a good cut.

It's not in south metro area but try TJ Hair studio in Golden Valley. She does a really good job with Asian hair.
