Why isn't privatizing our buses ever considered?
I recently went to Thailand, where the intercity buses are private, cheap, frequent, and go places people want to go. It makes American mass transit look terrible! While actually riding the bus in Thailand is much more uncomfortable than it is in America, everything else about it is much better in Thailand.

I don't know, I don't know how that would work. But I'm happy they finally put bike racks on the buses, it's about time!
It wouldn't make money. Simple, apparently even Paris's subway recovery ratio isn't 100%, neither is NYC's. Public transport needs subsidies more often than not.
