In the video, the assailant disappears into the passenger section of the bus for a few moments after hitting the driver. I wonder what the assailant did back there? It's possible that the other guy who boarded the bus was in cahoots with the assailant, but it's also possible the assailant went into the bus to hit or rob the other passenger.

Id stop the guy if the bus driver was knocked out on the ground bleeding and the guy started stomping him then yea i would but over a few punches naw its not worth my time

now days there is no chance i would get involve you don't know if these young cats are strap or not. not worth getting my life in danger of harms way. with all the cell phones with video cam or camera take a pic and give it to the police even though i never seen that kind of stuff happen in oakland or los angeles when i took the city bus.
