I am wanting to move. He is a city boy and I am a country girl. Is there any place in wayne or washtenaw county that would make us both happy? I just like the country atmosphere, where he likes tons of stuff around and not to take forever to get somewhere. We are also trying to find somewhere that is not to far from all these places because we have family at them belleville, milan, and waterford. Thanks

Ann Arbor or the surrounding area. It's "enough of a city" for me, meaning it has all the amenities, entertainment options, etc that I want. But it's a small city so it is not overwhelming or too crowded/stressful (except for game day traffic, LOL) and you can live in a quieter area of town or outside of town for more of a country atmosphere. I'm not a country girl, but I'm not a big city girl either, so Ann Arbor is just the right size for someone like me.
How about the Highland, White Lake area? sort of country and about half way from both I 23 and I 75 to go to the city.
Personally as a country boy myself if your south of a line from Bay City on the east and Grand Rapids in the west It aint really country. Those 10 acre horse farms are just wider spread city.
thanks for the input. He just doesnt want to be in gods land as long as I have a house that feels country and in seculsion with my house I am happy he wants more city with as far as not having to go far to get to somewhere and things to do more than just the corner store. My friend lives in milan but that is not where he wants to be. I wont do ann arbor to big to me and dundee he is not found of either. saline I hear is too high price. So I am not sure if there is anything in washtenaw or monroe county that would be close enough to Milan to give us both what we want. My kids live in waterford and I drive 45 minutes to get them right now and I really dont want to drive more than an hour when I move to do so. Not sure if theres anything like this that would work, but if not I would like to drive no more than 45 minutes tops to get to my kids and 45 minutes to see my friend in milan. So my kids live in waterford, my friend milan, and them some friends in belleville. I am looking to spend as least as possible on rent, but no more than 800 a month. Anwyere that is in washtenaw, monroe, wayne, or oakland county.

Ann Arbor too big for you? I wonder how big of a house you're looking for :P
