Wow, I'm new to this space...seeing a lot of hurt coming from our fellow Michiganders.

I sell real estate in northern Michigan. Believe me, it's 100 x's better this year than it was last year. This time last year, I was starving already and there was little hope of selling properties or finding buyers who could afford it.

This year is promising. My company overall is $2million in sales above where we were this time last year. We're doing just fine, which tells me, aside from what the television says, that Michigan is on the up and up...we'll make it out of this depressing, drab, downfall...and when we do...we can all sit back and reap the rewards.

Default Where in Northern Michigan?

Where are you located? I ask because I am hoping to have my home on the market by the fall.

As for proving that MI is getting better, I have my doubts.

Michigan won't get better under our leadership changes and the UAW is on its knees and put out of business. Both our political leaders and union thugs are hurting this state the most.

Doing better in sales than last year you say? I guess anything is better than nothing

This state is beautiful. Too bad it's politically and economically in the toilet.
