We need a tree! My husband was hoping to get something about 9-12 ft high. Does anyone know the cost of a real tree about that high? We will probably go with artificial, because it is easier, and cleaner, etc, but they are pricey.
Where do you get your trees? Any recommendations?

In the long run, fake ones are cheaper because you can reuse them year after year. I find real trees to be very pricey. I got a Martha Stewart tree at a Kmarts a couple weeks before Christmas one year and it was 60% off. Very nice tree. Plus, you can put them up earlier and leave them up longer if you want, without worrying about them drying out and dropping all those needles.
