Thank you NSX. It's easy getting good shots when the subject is so nice.

Here are a couple more from the last few weeks.
Saw these Mute Swans today while out on Hamlin Lake with the boat.

I love the pattern the "veins" in a leaf make. This is an oak leaf.

Ludington State Park. I was going for the old postcard look.

Looking down a big bluff at my 4 boys playing in Hamlin Lake.

And a final photo of a flower. Not Michigan specific, but still beautiful.

A mix of summertime festivals and towns etc.

Out on the Muskegon River.

Fruitport Old Fashioned Days (really nice little town, fun festival, a lot of people there):

Historic area of Downtown Muskegon:

South Haven (very touristy little town):

Heading towards Kalamazoo (this area is so green and hilly in parts, beautiful):

Manistee on a quiet Sunday (taken w/ cell):

You're welcome. I'm really peaceful looking through this thread. I've never been to Michigan but I was born and raised next door in Wisconsin. Looking at these pics, I almost feel as if I would be at right home in Michigan, either visiting OR living.

Can't wait to visit someday. After seeing these pics, that's definitely on my someday to-do list!

It's nice to look at the pictures of such a great state on such Great Lakes.

It's even more nice to call it home.

Went out for a drive the other day, and out for a bit yesterday. Then yesterday afternoon the computer bit the big one on the car . Then I blew a rear wheel bearing on my truck . BUT, I was still in a good mood at the end of the day. Why, you may ask? Because I am where I belong in the World, bearings and vehicle computers come and go, but MI is still home and will be in the long run.

Fishtown, Lealand, MI

Farm visible from top of the dune climb on M109 (South Dune Highway)

Lake Michigan beach in the Ludington State Park

Clouds rolling in yesterday afternoon (just before the vehicle puking)

A seagull (dump duck) that flew by while out to the beach.
