I thought I'd post some pics of my "underappreciated" portion of Michigan.

We see plenty of pics of lakes, rivers, cities, the coast, etc. Not a lot of pictures that look like where I live! So, here are a few I took on one of our few truly hot days this summer... without venturing too far from the road, of course.

Looking west from M-66 near Woodbury:

A lovely soybean field, south of I-96 off M-66:

Your link is bad, but you are right; the video was actually shot on Old Hickory Lake near Nashville, TN. Rollin’ With Kid Rock’s “All Summer Long” | CMT Blog

Sorry to say it, but none of your photos show up. I was looking forward to seeing them too, it has been a long time since I was down in that area poking around. Used to go down to Lake Odessa and that area years ago.

Not sure why they aren't loading! I went to high school in Lake Odessa. It probably hasn't changed a whole lot since you were there, but there have been some improvements lately. Downtown looks 100% nicer than it did a few years ago.

Maybe when I have more time I'll try to re-post those pics, and maybe a few more.

No *****? What a punk. Then again the cd came out in mid winter if I remember right but he's still a punk to pass on an opportunity to shoot it in Michigan.
