Couple shots for those who have never been to the State Capital or the museum in Lansing.

Default Michigan Hills?

Was cruising around on some gravel roads between Delton and Hastings today... and found some fairly large hills (by lower Michigan standards!)

Thanks. No new camera for me yet. I've been having withdrawals from photography and couldn't take it any longer... so I bummed my oldest sons camera. Hopefully if we get a decent tax return and I can talk the DW into letting me spring for a new body instead of paying off a silly bill or two early. LOL

Did I miss a post? What happened to your camera? I'm going to be ordering my new camera in about, ohhhhh 4 minutes. I'm sure everyone else like me hopes you get a new camera soon too. I've always enjoyed your work and did notice nothing new for awhile.
If ya get that tax return what are you hoping to get? Hope all is well.

At the end of Oct when we had that big wind storm here, my camera was killed when a 72MPH gust dumped it and me in a sand dune. That fine beach sand, which was damp, filtered into every nook and cranny and rendered it an expensive paperweight.

I have had Minolta SLR bodies for decades and have a LOT of really good glass for the Minolta "A" mount. That is one of the big reasons I went with the Sony DSLR body when I went digital. I'll stick with Sony and hopefully get either the a-850 or the a-900 full-frame body.

I thought you shot with Sony but was not sure. I don't blame you for sticking with Sony if you have so many Minolta lenses. Hope you can get a new one soon. Sorry to hear about the sand in the camera. Same thing happened to my first good Minolta 35mm.
