Ha. Yeah, more like we'll be "BLOWN AWAY" by how they propose to pay for it.

OMG you did not pull out an old Granholm quote did you? lol.

I'm definitely FOR getting more funding for roads and infrastructure, even if it costs us taxpayers more (which I can't see how it won't). In the construction business I work in, roads, curbs, utilities, excavation, etc.. are all skyrocketing and are only going to continue to go up. This whole notion of bandaid-ing the issue and trying to do "more with less" is obviously not working.

We'll see how she and the legislature get this done.

I'm proud of Kent County for voting (mostly) for Whitmer!
The NY Times map shows the university towns in Michigan also voted for her by wide margins. Education = intelligent results.

Be prepared for "Blown Away 2.0". I think I may have moved out of state just in time!

You guys realize Granholm, who isn't governor anymore, made that comment in 2006. Yes, we are all old.

I think the point they were trying to make is that Gretchen Whitmer is going to be Granholm all over again.
That remains to be seen but Lawd, I hope not!

I'm sure the PPs are aware that Granholm isn't governor anymore and that she said that years ago but it's been so seared into the brains of those of us who were around when she said it and have seen it played over and over again on TV ad nauseam that she will be identified with it forever, I think.

Trust me I know what they're point is. Because to some people, all women politicians are the same.

She isn't going to go too crazy with the state house and senate still being held by the GOP.
