He's running out of money, so he's not spending it where he will not make any gains (more rural or conservative areas, where he already has the votes he's going to get), and is concentrating on the one market he thinks he can still get some votes (the Detroit suburbs, esp those that went for Trump).

Most pundits/pol analysts say it's Whitmer's race.

The frequent Whitmer ads almost convince me to vote against her, but then I remember the other one is worse. Just walking past a TV is enough to get too much spiel. Immediately after the election the networks start filling that time with more Christmas ads, but the phone calls will decrease.

For all sorts of reasons, not just political, you should think about not watching TV at all except maybe for live sports if you are into that.

Let the special interests waste their millions on their TV ads to no effect.

I think they are both awful, but I dislike him more than her. Neither one of them is likely to do anything buy fight with the legislature and play blame game, so, it probably does not matter which wins.

I was told the national republican party stopped supporting him as it is clearly a waste of money for them.

THis race is probably over, but you never know. The polls said Hillary would win in a landslide.
