First off, hello All. Moving to Lansing for a promotion. So many outlets of information on where to buy a home and the areas where they are located. This may be a recycled question, but any areas you recommend? I am looking at Holt or Waverly for now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can help others help you by providing more information like ... what is your budget? Do you have school-age children? How big of a house do you need? Do you like Urban or rural settings?

My super general advice on Lansing:

If you like being in the city:
Have Kids? Okemos.
No Kids? Lansing.

If you do not like being in the city:
Have Kids? Dewitt.
No Kids? Charlotte.

If you'll provide more information, you'll get a better response~
Budget for housing?
Will you rent or buy?
Type of community (rural/suburban/urban/neighbors?)
Do you have children? Their ages? Will good schools be a priority?
What do you want to be near? Parks/walkable downtown/nightlife/public transportation/work?
Activities you enjoy?
