Wow, no wonder everything's booked up. Last week of Sept is peak leaf color season there I guess? I've got a tent spot at Temperance State Park - I picked that location to make it easy to bag the high point of Minnesota. Temps are expected to be the 50's - it'll be so nice to do some hiking without getting drenched in sweat.

Temperance park is awesome, narrow canyon with hidden waterfalls. Find The Grade road from 61, super scenic gravel road that not many travel compared to 61 which can be packed with cars.
