So I'm a senior in college and plan to move to Michigan after I graduate. My grandparents own roughly 25 acres of land up in Reed City right off of 10. They offered to let me have it, because they live down by the rest of my family now. I was born in Big Rapids, but moved when I was little, so I don't remember anything useful. So, I'm wondering what it's like up there. I live in a small town in Indiana, and from what I gather Reed will be a lot like that with just more snow. Just wondering what all you guys can share with me? How are property taxes?

Great deer hunting, not much opportunity (in general) regarding employment, and the farthest northen point where sassafrass trees grow.
I s'pose you can drive down to Big Rapids to party.......
And the Baldwin area has some great trout fishing......
