We paid for ours $ 4500 (thats with everything) but ours is a big one and that was when they first come out ,, and we converted a *room* into a * utlitly room* We have already 4 bdr, so we didnt nee another bedr. This was not needed. If you have a basement you can put it down there. Plus you can get little one for a corner (stands on four legs kinda looks like a small fireplace) and this will also heat a bunch. Friend has this...to help out on heat problem.. he loves it. Actuelly we were talking to get one too, just a cozy feeling ya know

You can find them one ebay or go too iburncorn.com this is a site just for us burnersIt also has a *beginner* Forum , where you can ask questions.. also a for sale forum. Not sure where you are, plus are you still moving? I can mayby help ya find one if you are really wanting one.
We can burn Cherrypits, pellets, corn, all we have to do is make the right mix, to put in there.
We choose corn because we get it deliverd from our friend.
Even tho Corn is *sopouse* to go up, its actuelly still running at arround 3.22 a bag. For to come to the same price and propane it would have to go too 5.00 a bag. But then you already know propane now is up higher then last year, and WILL continue to rise now even more.
Corn is STILL cheaper then propane, and now with FUEL going UP UP And AWAY its going to stay cheaper.

There is a growing # of people switchin to burners.... it isnt because its pretty (wich some of them are cool you can watch the flame) its because its cheaper !

if you have a fireplace, you can also buy a Insert for it.... ex inlaws did that and heated a HUGE room and any ajoying room. These Burners also heat 100% more better. It is a hot heat, not like propane... we have a 1995 sqft House... and keep our house at 70-72 in the winter ..... we paid last year maybe $ 900 for corn. That was for sept-april... This year we are calc. $ 1000 just because corn will go up a bit.
