i use verizon 3g no problems at all. 4g lte is either in Marquette now or will be soon, I forget. But my bet is
Verizon has the best U.P. coverage.

Yoopers have cell phones in da UP?

Last summer my wife and I drove across Yooper land. Our verizon phones worked great and we experienced few if any dead zones.

I use Verizon; it seems like I hit more dead zones traveling through the northern lower peninsula then I do my regular haunts here in the UP. Getting on Canada roam is a much bigger concern.

I've got one of those pre-paid phones that started out being Alltell but then was taken over by Verizon. It sounds like I should do pretty good with it in the UP.
