It's kind of easy for people in Michigan to take some things for granted but it's true, that area really has some of the most incredible scenery and natural beauty you can hope to find.

It seems every year when we climb the dune, it is the hottest day of the year. The view from the top is worth it, thats why we keep going back.

There is no denying that the dunes are one of Michigans best scenic places. The only other places of equal scenic beauty would be the porcupine Mts, and pictured rocks lakeshore. I end up in there about once a year and never get tired of the scenic beauty of the area.

personally i like the grand sable dunes near grand marais better. sleeping bear is more expensive and is packed with tourists during the summer.

i can see sleeping bear becomming the new warren dunes in the future once the word spreads..
