Why would you invest in rental property before knowing what the going rate for similar rentals would be?

You need to find out what others in your area are charging for rent. Try looking in the Miami Hearld and other local advertising outlets to find out prices in your area. Otherwise, just start talking to the neighbors to find out what they are paying in rent.

The 2/1 won't go for more than 700, the 2/1 would be closer to 900 is my guess, but it is just a guess, can you post a pic and address?
