Are you crazy South Florida is a haven of crime, and unless you can speak spanish you are done. Living there for 25 years and finally getting fed up with it. That is why I left, good luck prices are high and you will need to take out a loan just to live day to day down in South Fla.

Hey, we could use you. Please come down here. Considering that only about half of Miami has even graduated from high school or has a GED. And only about 16% have even graduated from a University! That means about 47.3% of those living in Miami, 25 and older, don't even have a High School or GED diploma. Most common occupation in the city of Miami is a janitor/housekeeper. Teachers that actually speak English are rare. Perhaps you can influence the kids to stay in school and go to college. Please come down here! We could use you. I have no idea where you could live but give it a try.

Oh, I'm definitely coming. I just don't where I'm gonna live yet. This whole apartment hunting thing sucks! What is Aventura like? I've seen some really nice places there in my online searching.

It's all gonna depend where you work. So if you move before you have a job offer, I would probably recommend you to rent somewhere where you don't have to sign a long lease, because Miami is a large city and you don't want a long commute.

If you want to be close to the beach, I would recommend you Miami Beach, Sunny Isles.

I don't know about the keys, even though they are beautiful, I hear a lot of complaints that they are boring.

Homestead, is a no-no. The old parts of homestead are really, really ugly, Like someone said a wasteland Unlike Miami, there is a large poor Mexican population, they're there because they work the farms around that area.
