Naw. More Cubans than anything. I think people look at one section at of a city in Miami. Overall you are more likely to run into 3 Cubans vs 1 of anything else.

Except that I believe Cubans are less than 50% of hispanics in Miami. Anyway, not sure what the big deal is.

I have

I never been to that state, so I wouldn't tell.. One thing is for sure, most of the Hispanic areas in Miami Dade, remind me a mix of the Caribbean and South American, and also Central. Like a Latin American melting pot pretty much. I've lived up north for 4 years, nothing like South Florida, with the exception of West Palm Beach, the more north the more gringo like.

I've been to Colombia. Poblado reminds me of Brickell. It's a damn shame how they give them a problem to come here vs Cubans. They are way more cultured IMO. I've also been to Cost Rica. Haven't run into too many in Miami at all.

Are you referring to Fort Lauderdale and further North? I've been to Minnesota and I don't see anything remotely close to Miami in anyway shape or form.

Yes, because in communist Cuba - culture abounds. What a callous comment. The people who come from Cuba are coming here for entirely different reasons than Colombians. Can only tourists visit Poblado? Or do Colombians live there? Where is the "Poblado" in Cuba? Maybe there would be less Cubans here if they could live in "Poblado" type places. Sometimes the comments here are mind-boggling.

And Costa Ricans. Why would you run into many of them here?

Costa Rica and Chile are the two best countries in Latin America. Rare to find them here unless they are high level professionals.

I don't care if you don't like my comments. I'm calling it how I see it. Miami would be better if they stopped all the BS and let them come over through the normal way. Plenty of other communist countries and the US gives them a hard time to come over, for some strange reason Cuba is ok. You can always go back.

Poblado is in Medellin and of course Colombians live there. Smdh. Cities in the coast of Colombia are more touristy. There are plenty of poor places in Colombia, Centro and Bello come to mind so I don't know where you are going with less Cubans here if they had a Poblado. Maybe if the US went in and destroyed that island like they did in the Middle East there would be less Cubans here. The US says it wants people in other countries to be "free"(free means special interests to the US). No Oil or pretty much anything in Cuba so that is probably the reason why it never happened.

This is very true. Chile is the only country in South America that doesn't need a tourist visa to come to the US. Their economy is solid, so you don't see too many here. I've only met two in my lifetime.

A lot of companies outsource their business to Costa Rica. Quite a few call centers come from there and a lot of them speak English. Tiger Direct has business over there. They are another country that has a good enough economy where they do not flock to the US.
