Hey all,
How is the area around there. Google Maps shows it's not too far from Little Haiti. Pretty safe area? Thanks!

It is okay. Pretty much called the design district area. It is not the greatest area, but you have the bay, it is pretty. The rent is fairly reasonable in that area. I don't know about the schools in that area, but if that is not an issue for you, it is an okay place to live.

That area east of US1 or Biscayne boulevard ( between US1 and the bay) is good. Actually is is a barricaded community named "Morningside" one of the neighborhoods of what is part of "Upper East Side" of the city of Miami, wich is a residential area of beautifull and pricy spanish mediterranean single homes. On the other side of "The Boulevard" , there are multifamily complexes and single homes. The area is just Ok. The Miami Design District area is a little bit south from 36th Street to 42st street, Dixie Hwy by the east and NW 2nd ave by the west.

I haven't been in the area for in a while, but I wouldn't want to live there.
