So I'm transferring schools, and I am looking at 2 down there for the spring.

Right now I'm looking at Johnson and Wales in North Miami, and Miami Dade College in downtown.

Can anyone help me out with good parts of the city to live in with people living on their own around my age?

And are there any parts of town I should avoid being in or thinking about renting in?

My man,

Budget, your age, what do you plan to spend in rent, do you have a car? Let us know and we can answer you a little better.

Is there a particular program you're going for that's only available at MDC's downtown campus?

Im attending an international business program at MDC wolfson.

Yes i have been to miami several times though, it just has been 2 or 3 years since the last time.

But i am 20 and yes I do have a car. My budget for a one bedroom is between 1500-1800, and for a three bedroom around 2300.

You should be able to find a nice spot downtown for that budget.

You should be more than fine with that budget. Check out Brickell.
