your MB extended warranty rating

We leased a 2022 GLC 4Matic. In 10 months, the lease will be up, & we'll have ~20k on it.

My wife loves it, so we are considering buying it at lease term, if the price is fair.

It would only have 1 more year of warranty on it...came w/ 4 yr 50k.

I will not own another MB out of warranty. Our GLK almost cost us $3,600...we escaped a bullet.

I would only buy a MB factory originated extended warranty sold through the MB dealer we'd buy at.

Has anyone here done so, and how has your experience been?

I'm think of extending our 4 yr warranty to 7 yrs, then selling the car at 6 yrs. old, so new owner would have 1 yr of warranty left as peace of mind.

My MB extended warranty has been fine. That said, there are a few dealers who sell them out a discount, and you might be better off going there versus your local dealer.
