I'm moving to Memphis and trying to find a Chinese community in that area. Is there someone may help to give me some information? Which city in Memphis area has the most Chinese residents. TIA.

Maybe you can contact the Chinese Baptist Church on Macon Rd? I would think they could give you some pretty good information

There is a larger than normal asian presense in midtown, along Cleveland. At least in terms of asian stores (markets, restaurants, and auto repair). I don't think it's necessarily where asian people live, the area is pretty rough and has been on the radar to be bulldozed.

There is a large amount of chinese people in Bartlett and Cordova. My family is constantly on the search to find Chinese communities, but usually we find out that they are scattered all around Memphis. I would go to the Baptist Church recommended and talk with the people there. You would get a better feel for where you might want to relocate.

That seems like the most Asian part of town. Im not sure if they live there or not. Most of the people around there are Vietnamese though.

There's a large Asian presense in some suburbs. I know there are a lot of Koreans in Germantown. My home town Millington has a large Filipino presense. Im not sure if where Chinese people are concentrated, they may be more spread out.

Someone told me there was a Filipino Restaurant in Millington...but I haven't heard where. Do you know if there is one?

Yup, it's been there for maybe a decade. It's right there where Navy Rd crosses the railroad tracks.

It used to be called that, i dunno what it's called now. They change management a lot, and their name. But it's always been a Filipino restaurant.
