Aloha,
My husband, twin sister and I are planning on moving to Maui upcountry in the next 2 to 5 years. Is there anything we should know in preparation to make it a smoother transition for us? We will have probably 4 dogs and 1 cat between us and have researched all about the new 5 day quarantine and plan on taking advantage of that. We are taking college classes right now, her to be in the animal field and I am getting my nursing degree and drafting certificate. We are going to save our money so that we can build a home that we all like. Any advice you can give us? The prices of things aren't a concern for us, everything we have researched is not to bad compared to where we live now. We need to live in a cooler then sea level climate due to two of the dogs having thick double coats. Right now we are thinking Kula or Makawao as being our favorites. Thank you for any help you can give us!

Coreena

A small town in southern Oregon. Prices aren't what they are in Hawaii here, but they are more then a lot of other places in the US.
