I looked Dyna-Grow up on Amazon.... 5/5 stars from over 100 people - sounds like good stuff - I love it! Thanks for the recommendation Jungjohann, will definitely give it a try!

It sounds like there's a lot of sharing and bartering for fruits and veg. We had the crazy idea of growing a bunch of annually renewing fruit then offering to trade with a "vendor" at a farmers market for the items we don't grow. Sorta like, "come and pick what you want, then leave us a bag of tomatoes, onions, etc. in trade". Have you heard of folks doing this?

Also, in checking out Plant It Hawaii's website, I noticed that most fruit trees come in 3 or 7 gallon containers but it doesn't mention the time to harvest between each. Lets say avacados, lemons, limes. What would you guestimate (in years) for a 3 gallon vs 7 gallon before 1st harvest?
