Does anybody have any advice/experience with a commute from the Raynham/Taunton area to the Maynard (rts 117/62) area?

I'm looking to find out roughly how long it would take on a normal, good and bad day.

Any help and other info you have would be great to have!

Thanks!

Yeah, you're looking at about an hour without traffic. Depending where you live in Taunton, you can either go 495 or 24 to 128 and it'll be about the same time (more traffic on 128). On a Bad day (weather or traffic), it could easily take close to 1 hour and 45 minutes

Thanks for the feedback. I know the commute would be long but was wondering if anyone had experience with it.

My girlfriend is a teacher down in Falmouth and I'm working in Maynard so we're trying to find some type of middle ground for a year until one of us can relocate. Any suggestions?

I live in Maynard and commuted to GTE in Taunton exit 8 for over 5 years, I left at 6 in the am and it was an hour one way. some times it took over an hour on the return but I burned out a new car with 150000 miles in 4 years. Did this from 1987 to 1993. Good luck

If GF is a teacher, she should take on the longer commute since she only works 180 days/year and will not be commuting in the worst rush hour times.
