Sad. Just seems grim at this point.
Or why the whole family couldn't relocate to DC. Fresh start for all of them and it seems like her husband could "work" from anywhere. I'm always suspicious of the types of businesses he lists as his employment, but theoretically they're remote.

Maybe the job was short term or a rotation? My dad spend most of my childhood working out of other cities during the week and coming home on the weekends, but he was in a different city every 6 months.

Then again, I had a roommate once who was in her 40s and lived with her husband in Longmeadow but worked in Boston, so she used the room as a crashpad during the week. Or at least that was the story. Turns out she had a raging drug addiction, was likely sleeping with her dealer (who lived in Worcester - so she was driving halfway home most nights anyway), and her husband was a cop. She moved out suddenly and left two people in their early 20s holding the bag for her rent and utilities because she lied to her husband about where the missing money was and claimed we were overcharging her. So things aren't always what they seem!

I know someone who has a house in southborough and an apt in the city. My friend will stay there in the city during the week a lot. They also have 0 kids and don't plan to have any. I guess that's the kicker in this for me. It's just unusual (in my world anyways) for a mother to be away from her 3 kids under 6 all week. I question why she even had 3 kids that quickly as she clearly doesn't seem to want to be tied down to them much. I'd raise eyebrows if it were the man doing that as well. Maybe they needed the money. I just would have a hard time being away from my kids all week.

I'm sure more to the story will unfold.

Doesn't add up. Who leaves at 4am on New Years Day to catch a flight for a work emergency? For someone in a white-collar job you'd think almost any work issue could be handled remotely.

The search is over and won't be resumed unless there's new evidence:

Between this and the guy who showed up at the police station with a chainsaw the chief must be ready to retire.

Sounds like someone (possibly DCf) took the kids.

It's been rumored that the husband wears an ankle bracelet monitor because of the past crimes. If this is true Police would be able to monitor his every move.

PD is now referring all inquiries to DA. Safe to assume charges will coming?

Don’t disagree. But he has been arrested for misleading police and the ground search has been suspended. Why?
