I used to live in Arlington. It is a nice place for young professionals, but IMO not a good place to buy a million dollar SFH.

There are many apartment buildings and duplexes, except for Arlington Heights where houses are crowded on hilly roads.
Most residents are transient and don't know their neighbors.

I'm more floored by this .....not in Arlington but just sold in Boston for $13 mil. I wonder if it will ever get old having to navigate between 6 different floors of living space (I know there's an elevator but what a pain having to use it every time just to go from kitchen to bedroom, to tv room, etc)? Also, what's with the x's on the windows of the townhouse unit next door? Does that mean it is condemned? City living isn't my cup of tea so I'd rather spend $13 mil on a nice waterfront property but wow, it sure is interesting to see what some people choose to spend their millions on!

Perhaps the most prestigious address in Boston proper.

The adjacent building is likely undergoing a gut renovation. The Xs tell firefighters the interior is currently unsafe to enter.

Well it is Louisburg sq. That's arguably one of the most exclusive addresses you can have in Boston. I certainly wouldn't mind it lol...but I'd probably want something with more nature.

The owner of the place or whoever just sold it happens to be the ex wife of the founder of staples, https://hauteliving.com/2012/08/dola...illion/310375/

*sigh*
