We've been looking for houses for a couple of weeks, and this house that we found in Wayland, more specifically in Cochituate, looks really promising.
The thing is that, it's right across the street from a project. It's Bent Park Elderly And Disabled Housing, and we were curious about the implications of living right across from it.
Also, I've read that south of Wayland is less desirable(?) part of the town, are the schools worse than the that of the north part of the town?
How's Cochituate in general? We're moving from Arlington, if that helps...
You might have some old geezer yell at you to get off his lawn. This is elderly housing in a lily-white suburban town we’re talking about, not major city low income public housing full of teenage single mothers, equally single 30 year old grandmothers and all of their gangbanger boyfriends who are not on the lease.

Posts like this convince me that people don't really want diversity around them. Sure maybe they'd be ok with living next door to an Asian doctor but people are apparently afraid to move near an old people's home in a place like Wayland.
Funny thing is, I guarantee vast majority of those people also have at least five BLM signs in their yard.

Where in the OP did they say diversity is a consideration of theirs in where they are choosing to live?

I must have missed it.
They didn't. But apparently old people are scary to them.
