I lived of Lynn shore drive and walked to the train. Never had a problem. I would usually get to central square around 8pm at night

I'm not Sal, but since s/he did not answer I thought I would...

The easiest, and possibly the most direct route, from Lynn Shore Drive would be to walk down Lynn Shore Drive onto the Lynnway (Lynn Shore Dr merges into the Lynnway). This route will take you directly to the train station and bus terminal located at the intersection of Market & Broad Streets.

I'm estimating the distance to be about a mile and a half to a two mile walk. It would be comfortable in the warmer months... but you would freeze your butt of in the windy, colder months.

Safety wise???... you would be walking down the outskirts of a densely populated area of moderate to low income homes and apartments.

I hope this is of some help.
