Both nice towns however Andover is always looked at as being 'higher'. North Andover has more selection for houses and you won't pay too much.

At the end of the day, I would suggest a trip to both and drive around. Stop in the downtown areas, look at the people, facilities, school. Do what feels right to you.

So far this year 6 overdoses in Andover. I also think it has to do with having the #1 drug capital in MA right next door (lawrence) . I believe the high school has had 4 principals since 2010. Hopefully they can find one that sticks around this time. Overall I still believe Andover is a great town and still relatively safe

Definitely watch the video on Youtube called the other side of Andover. It seems a lot of kids were doing Heroine. Hopefully that will change since the town is building a youth center and they also are aware of the issue and are no longer brushing it off like before because they did not want the town to get a bad rep.

Yes that's the one. The kid with the blurred face speaking at the 1 hour mark was the one that recently passed away a few weeks ago. So sad

The people I know from North Andover are all nice professional people.

495Neighbor I agree. North Andover is mostly
a white collar town. Someone posted that NA is not
as educated as Andover which is not true

I left Andover about 15 years ago. If I had any interest in moving back to MA (which I do not), I would move back to Andover in a NY minute.
