We are moving to Newton (Upper Falls) just off rt 9 in Sept, I am a FT student and will be driving to Danvers 3 days a week. What is the commute like on 128 at 7:30 in morning going from Newton to Danvers? We live in Newburyport right now so I know the commute to Newton is awful as my husband has been doing the commute for 7 years (hence the move).

The commute north on 128 is not as bad as the commute south on 128 but it's still no cup of tea, particularly in Woburn at the 93 interchange. Do yourself a favor and leave at 7:00 AM or earlier and enjoy a little more time in Danvers before classes start.
