Possible job relocation with a family of wife and 3 girls and looking for places in and around Burlington with good schools (of course). Would it be better to stay in Mass or commute from NH? Any guidance would be appreciated.

depends on your budget. Renting or buying? There are lots of towns around Burlington with great schools (Lexington, Bedford, Winchester, Carlisle, Concord).

Renting until we can sell our current home. Probably between $2k-$2500 a month.

The highways around Burlington are heavily traveled. In general, you'll want to live in Burlington or only 1-3 towns away to minimize your commuting time. Fortunately, all of those communities have good school systems.

Default Try Winchester on for size

Try Winchester or Lexington :-)

Both have good schools. Even Burlington schools are decent.

Winchester is the best though and only about 10-15 min from Burlington via back roads.

You could try Concord - Carlisle - Lincoln - or Bedford as well

But I'd suggest Winchester

My wife lived in Burlington while she was married the first time, and she and her ex sent kids to the local schools. I've met the kids (now grown up) and they turned out fine. I think you'd be OK right there in that town.
