Hi all, we are moving to the Towson area in late January and am looking for a preschool 2-3 days a week 9am- 2pmish for my 2 and almost 4 year old. I have contacted Drool of Rock, White Marsh KinderCare, The Learning Experience (Parkville) and all have given me a average of $500-$600 per month, per child. We are moving from Honolulu where 2 days a week is $580.00 for both children. Any suggestions on a good preschool in this general area would be greatly appreciated as well as if this is the average rate. I am surprised that the cost of preschool would be so much higher. Is there something I'm missing. Thanks for any replies, just trying to plan a little before we get there. Aloha, Seans Mom

Seems like most anything in that area will be diversely progressive. In other words I doubt you will find a non-diverse conservative preschool, elementary, or middle school, outside of some religious private schools.

Probably has less to do with her kid and more to do with other parents.
