The 4.64-acre site for the three businesses is on the west side of Garland Groh Boulevard, north of Walmart and south of Bulldog Federal Credit Union.

The proposed Chick-fil-A, which would be the second in the Hagerstown area, and Murphy Express would go along the front of the property and the Aldi would be built behind the fast-food restaurant.

Stephen Bockmiller, development planner and zoning administrator for the city, said traffic access would be made from Garland Groh Boulevard between the credit union and Murphy Express, with the possibility of future access to the site from the Walmart shopping center.

Hagerstown can really use this.

1. Weasel's Chick-fil-A is incredibly busy.

2. Hagerstown's existing Aldi is pretty old.

3. Garland Groh doesn't have a full-time grocer.

Agree on all counts. The Wesal Blvd. Chick-fil-A is a pretty well oiled machine but my goodness is it busy.
