Hey there. Im moving here at the end of September in an apartment, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit more about this area, and what there is to do. I am 20 years old, and my step brother is moving in with me that's 23. Thanks!

Ellicott City is excellent
Ellicott City is one of the finest places to live! Make sure you visit beautiful Main Street. There are many nice stores, restaurants, and a wonderful fudge shop which has the best fudge I have tasted in the state. Furthermore, it is a safe and placid area to live.

If you and your brother are into going out, then get on 95 and drive down to Federal Hill in Baltimore. Ellicott City has a cute historic district, many restaurants, and is close to Columbia Mall if you want to go shopping. But little nightlife to speak of. La Palapa is cool though, it is off of Main St in historic ellicott city.
