Drive time from Perry Hall area to Columbia? (Baltimore, Towson: new construction, schools)

I have a job opportunity in Columbia that I'm considering. We'd be relocating from the King of Prussia/Collegeville, PA area (Philly suburbs).
No kids to consider so schools aren't an issue. We'd like something similar to where we are now (a farmhouse on about an acre of land), although we're open to new construction or downsizing to a rancher or the like, as long as the lot is a decent size. We've taken a ride down twice and the White Marsh/Perry Hall area is appealing....Towson as well. Curious to see the actual drive time from those areas to the Columbia area. Any input is appreciated!

Without traffic, you're looking at about 45 minutes minimum. Baltimore traffic is pretty bad on most days, so it could easily be over an hour.

If you want to be closer and have an acre of land, you might want to take a look at Carroll County.
