hello to all...read somewhere that there is going to be an auction in medford for 3000 acres.....supposed to be a resort developement
they mentioned mrs. quimby who might get the property....does anyone know about this situation

I believe this is near Medford, but actually in Brownville. The owner wanted to build a resort with golf course, hotel, cottages and there is a pond on the property. It was bad timing. I don't know of a separate 3,000 acre parcel in Medford.

Jeesh, we've had a camp on Schoodic for decades and I guess I don't know where Medford is?? Is this the "resort" that a couple put together a few years ago? If so, nice setup, but it ain't that big.

Thanks. That'd be next to Lakeview I guess. Sorta a corner I never had occassion to stomp. North of Orneville.
