Thanks.. preview audience tonight.

Do to copyright laws, performances are unable to be filmed. Usually, this theatre has a video production company come in and film the one rehearsal between show weekends. That video is available for purchase at typically $20-$30 (Extortion, perhaps?).

It went well except for the 10 minute stoppage. You know the saying the show must go on? Well, we were in the middle of the romantic scene between myself and the person playing Tony and we heard someone ask for a doctor in the house, but kept going. I heard(he didn't) someone say they were calling 911(still going).. as we heard the sirens approaching, one of the co-house managers walked right up on stage and told us to stop as the EMT's would be there soon. The elderly man was initially unresponsive(this is a black box style theatre with only 100 seats so we could see everything). He finally was more "there" and after several minutes he was able to navigate down the few steps with assistance and loaded onto the gurney and gave a thumbs up as they took him away.

Rob (Tony) and I just stood there....the stage manager ran to us and told us where they wanted us to pick back up from in the emotionally intense scene and as they say, the show went on.

WowDrama!! I'm glad it turned out okay. I made banana bread this morning and now I have a beef stew cooking. I think some biscuts might go right nice with supper.
