i was reading in the Bangor paper this morning about a prostitution ring in Maine.they make good money 200-1000 bucks.did any of you read this?

Tell ya what, the pictures show some "rough looking" women. I don't imagine any of them chose this as a career but, rather, fell into it in desperation.

Yes, prostitution is alive in well in Maine. A lot of it takes place out of their own apts.
"rough looking" as insider (working years in law enforcement), the rough ones get the most business
... I had some ideas why, but nothing concrete.

They're not alone. It is the "world's oldest profession" after all.
There are other factors involved I'm sure (including drugs). It's pretty much a given IMHO.
