I might make what??

The only thing I'm planning on is a Thursday lunch sometime in the future with people from the fourm-- not once did I say today-- and lunch with the locals next Friday. I'm not sure about the "I give up" comment--I made that perfectly clear on here and in DMs.

It would be very helpful if we could go ahead and set a date for the "Thursday lunch" so there is no further confusion. We're all busy with our various schedules, (even us stay at home moms!) so getting something established will give us a date to look forward to. Some of us are also planning several other events right now that we have to work around. I need a list!!

Default Date, time & place for Thursday forum lunch :)

After a meeting of the minds we have a consensus. The next forum-wide lunch will be on Thursday, May 7th at 11:30AM, at Dysarts in Hermon. It's easily accessible via I95, and is the Cold Brook Road exit. No idea on the number, as I remember what the exits *used* to be! This is the lunch that we wanted to plan for those who would like to get together, but have been unable to make the weekend meets. Hopefully we'll have a good gathering and I'm sure we'll have a good time!

ps-this lunch is NOT to be confused with the get together the WaCo crowd is working on for next Friday. If you'd like to come to that one just DM me as I will NO longer be posting regarding that lunch, but all are welcome!

My family and I (me, husband,& 3 kids) are coming to visit our house to open it up for summer in mid May. We are going to go explore a bit and wanted to show the kids Canada (but stay on USA side!) so we were going to take our first visit to Calias (you guys have made me love the area via the computer and I want to see it!) My husband loves checking out new restaurants/diners etc so I told him I heard about a great place (yes, the one I hear about on here!) near there and he's excited to check it out! We plan on taking a trip out to Calias and stopping in to eat either Friday May 15, OR Sat May 16th for a lunch before exploring the area. I told my husband I'd love to meet anyone who would like to meet up with us and he said that sounds nice. We are hoping to finally move up to our house anywhere from this winter at earliest to next summer (summer 2010) depending on how life goes down here in NJ. It would be great to meet friends from our future home!

If anyone thinks they'd be able to that'll be great. Sorry we don't know the exact day yet... I am talking to a plumber this week and hope they'll come out Thursday... so we have Fri/Sat open... but if he chooses Friday, then we can't do Fri. I'll know soon!

We won't be at our house in Eastport until May 16, so I guess we'll meet you another time.

You're gonna love it, NJ! We sort of did the same thing, came to house hunt and happened on a Friday when we could have lunch with Peachie, Molly and MW. It was great! Even better was knowing that when we moved up, we had friends waiting for us.
