I can NOT make it on a Saturday. I am almost guaranteed to work that day, as I was hired to work "nights and weekends." I get an occasional SUN off, this week Mon as well but TU/TH are guaranteed so those are my preferred days, TH over TU to be honest.

Okay, I wrote that down on the caledar. I also was thinking later on in the month.
That way we have time to "PLAN"
I really get nervous about making the decision on our "DATE" because some people can't come for sure, that realllllllllllly bothers me.:crying :

Well,

you can put the dates in a hat and pull one out....

you can give each date a number, and roll a dice....

you can put each date on a straw, and draw one....

you can put each date on a slip of paper, throw them up in the air and the first one to land is it....

you can do the same as above, and the last one to land is it.....

you can pin the dates to the dart board (have a drink or two) and see which one the darts hit....

you can ask your children to pick a number....

seriously though, you know we are all adults here, we understand that we all can't make all the events we want to attend, all the time...that's life....even if it a date of our preference, things come up...

Well.... the poll will close here at 8:00am this morning... but as you may see... The highest number is on Saturday.. and I voted for Friday myself.

(so unless the poll changes in an hour... it looks like that would be
Saturday, March 28th.
N&C Rest in Baileyville, Maine
at 11:30.
Like some of you, making arrangements with enough time planned can help.
( I should know.. I'm the "arrangment~nator" )
"I'll be back"
jj... you have to try and "ditch work"...
(oops your boss doesn't read city data?")

... ahhh ...
...."Robin will call in for you with a hankie on the phone (she's much more braver then I)~
peachie pushes Maine Writer to the head of the line
... I'd do it,
........... but I'm a big chicken baby and I don't want to get your boss mad.

Sorry, guys... but I don't call in sick when I am not. I consider this "tempting the Fates/Norns" and those Ladies are NOT to be trifled with... I know you mean well...

And as I asked for the 14th off (will know today if I got it) for my Master Gardener class, it seems a little early to request another Saturday. I will see if, perhaps, I can trade with a co-worker if I have an other day off that week that is not a TU/TH... I have my reasons for not giving them any idea that I might could work those days.

And as NMLM said, I am a grown up and know how to deal with disappointment... and besides I now know where just about everyone lives. for when I DO get those days off...
